Ingevity to launch environmentally friendly Altatac™ ECO 100 tackifier at FEICA European Adhesive and Sealant Conference

September 4, 2019

Sept. 4, 2019 – Ingevity will introduce its new Altatac™ ECO 100 resin at the FEICA European Adhesive and Sealant Conference on Sept. 11, 2019, in Dubrovnik, Croatia. With 99% bio-based content, Altatac ECO 100 contains more renewable raw materials than traditional tackifiers. Altatac ECO 100 is a high-performance tackifier designed for enhanced stability in thermoplastic hot melt adhesives. The product is available globally.

Altatac ECO 100 provides outstanding adhesion to difficult-to-bond surfaces like recycled corrugate and complies with the most stringent color and stability requirements. This product also demonstrates superior low-color stability and is applicable across multiple adhesive systems.

“Altatac ECO 100 helps formulators and brand owners improve their environmental footprint, differentiate product offerings, and address consumer demand for more sustainable offerings,” said Steve Gailbreath, global business director, adhesives, at Ingevity. “We developed this product to address evolving market requirements by combining our superior tackifier and polymer knowledge with our innovative technologies.”

Ingevity’s team will showcase Altatac ECO 100 on-site at table 6 during the exhibition to provide visitors with additional product information. To learn more about Ingevity’s adhesive product line and services, visit www.ingevity.com.
